"This is a good mask to cover the neck and chest area to get the red light benefits. It pretty much looks like a bib and is wrapped around the neck using velcro strips that came in the package. It can be used over your shirt or without your shirt on but it looks like the manual advises to have the red light directly exposed to your skin. The cable is connected to the red light mask and cannot be detached. It has the controller which is part of the cable that powers on/off the red light mask, timer, and the rest of the settings. I would advise to keep the instruction manual as it does a good job detailing each red light setting and description of the benefits that would come as a result of the red light. The mask doesn't feel heavy and the red light emits heat which feels relaxing. There are 5 settings that get progressively stronger in terms of the power and strength of the red light. It's recommended to use the mask about 2-3 a week at an average of 10 or 15 mins each. If you're trying to target skin rejuvenation, the frequency of using red light is higher in the beginning and once improvements start to show, then the red light doesn't have to be used as much. It really all depends on each individual so I'd do a few test runs with different settings to find the most comfortable match.Red light is generally safe and can really be beneficial to improving our skin. If you need to target your neck and chest area as sometimes skin will tend to sag in these parts, then this red light mask may help without having to go through any invasive type treatments."
